Maragogi Drone Flight: Maragogi is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Alagoas, 125 km north of the capital city of Maceió. It has 25,726 inhabitants, a city situated on the northern coast of Alagoas state, Brazil, being the easternmost city of that state. As the main destination in the State of Alagoas after its capital city[citation needed], Maragogi attracts visitors from Maceió. From Japaratinga beach, on the southern tip, a ferryboat crosses Manguaba River into Porto das Pedras, where visitors find virtually deserted beaches. Maragogi was initially a small village called Gamela. In 1887, it was granted the status of an adopted the name of Isabel, to honor the Brazilian Princess who signed a law ending slavery in Brazil. Later on, in 1892, it was named as Maragogi after the river that baths the city. Maragogi, according to some historians, comes from “Marahub-gy”, or river of the Marauba tribes. // Porto de Galinhas is a beach in the municipality of Ipojuca, Pernambuco, Brazil. Porto de Galinhas is a major tourist destination. The beach is famous for its bright-water beaches and the natural pools. It is part of the municipality of Ipojuca, and located 60 kilometers (37 mi) south of the state capital, Recife. The municipality of Ipojuca, where Porto de Galinhas lies, was established on November 12, 1895. // Maragogi é um município da Microrregião do Litoral Norte Alagoano, na Mesorregião do Leste Alagoano, no estado de Alagoas, no Brasil. Localiza-se a 125 quilômetros de Maceió, a capital do estado. Localiza-se na latitude 09º0044 sul e na longitude 35º1321 oeste, estando a uma altitude de 5 metros. Sua população estimada em 2018 foi de 32.369 habitantes. A temperatura média é de 27 graus Celsius. Sua economia é baseada no turismo, na pesca e na agricultura. A beleza de suas praias faz com que seja um dos mais importantes polos turísticos da região.
