Pernambuco Drone Flight: Pernambuco is a state in northeast Brazil, on the Atlantic Ocean. Its modern capital, Recife, features a port, old town and popular beach area of Boa Viagem. Offshore, the volcanic archipelago of Fernando de Noronha has a jagged coastline, undeveloped beaches and a marine park. South of Recife, reef-protected Porto de Galinhas beach offers natural pools. North lies Olinda, a colonial town amid lush vegetation. Pernambuco stretches west across 3 geographical zones: the humid coastal region, with beaches and dense forests; the drier agreste region, with sweeping fields and farmlands; and, farthest inland, the semi-arid sertão, with towering plateaus. The agreste is home to the riverfront city of Caruaru. Rich in northeast Brazilian culture, Caruaru is the unofficial capital of the regions own music genre, forró, explored in the citys Museu do Forró. The city also hosts many fairs and religious festivals, including the major Festa de São João in June. // Pernambuco é uma das 27 unidades federativas do Brasil. Está localizado no centro-leste da região Nordeste e tem como limites os estados da Paraíba (N), do Ceará (NO), de Alagoas (SE), da Bahia (S) e do Piauí (O), além de ser banhado pelo oceano Atlântico (L). Ocupa uma área de 98 149,119 km² (6,57% maior que Portugal). Também fazem parte do seu território os arquipélagos de Fernando de Noronha e São Pedro e São Paulo.
