About Itaugua: 12 de Octubre Football Club is a Paraguayan football club from the city of Itauguá that currently plays in the Primera Division, the top division of Football in Paraguay. Founded in 1914, the clubs home venue is Estadio Luis Alberto Salinas Tanasio. The club is the only club outside the Asuncion Metropolitan Area to win a league title. // The stadium was opened in 1965 and has a capacity of 10,000. It was called Estadio Juan Canuto Pettengill until 2016, when it was changed to Estadio Luis Alberto Salinas Tanasio in honor of Luis Salinas, ex president of the club. The stadium was expanded with the addition of an east stand in 2003, and received floodlights the following year. // El estadio Luis Alberto Salinas Tanasio (denominado entre 1972 a 2016 estadio Juan Canuto Pettengill) es un estadio de fútbol de Paraguay que se encuentra ubicado en la ciudad de Itauguá, a unos 30 km de la capital del país, Asunción. En dicho escenario, que cuenta con capacidad para 10.000 espectadores, hace las veces de anfitrión el equipo de fútbol del club 12 de Octubre de la Primera División de Paraguay. La denominación es en homenaje a un exdirectivo de la institución y exintendente de la ciudad. // Das Estadio Luis Alberto Salinas Tanasio ist ein Fußballstadion in der paraguayischen Stadt Itauguá. Es wurde 1965 erbaut und eröffnet. 2003 wurde es renoviert. Heute fasst es 8000 Zuschauer. Der Fußballverein Club 12 de Octubre trägt hier seine Heimspiele aus. Im März 2016 wurde nach dem Tod von Luis Salinas, ehemaliger Bürgermeister von Itauguá und Präsident vom Club 12 de Octubre, das Stadion von Estadio Juan Canuto Pettengill in Estadio Luis Alberto Salinas Tanasio umbenannt.
