About Grand Galet: The Grand Galet Falls (also called Langevin Falls after the name of its river) is situated in the commune of Saint-Joseph on the island of Réunion. It is situated in the Réunion National Park, and its natural pool is a popular swimming and picnic place on weekends and holidays. // La cascade de Grand Galet, ou cascade Langevin, est une chute deau de lîle de La Réunion, un département doutre-mer français dans le sud-ouest de locéan Indien. Elle relève du territoire de la commune de Saint-Joseph, une commune de La Réunion située dans le sud de lîle. Elle est en outre située sur une frontière du parc national de La Réunion. Cascade Grand-Galet (auch Cascade Langevin) ist ein Wasserfall auf der im Indischen Ozean liegenden französischen Insel Réunion. Der Wasserfall des Flusses Langevin befindet sich in der Gemeinde Saint-Joseph. Réunion is an outermost region of the European Union and is part of the eurozone. Réunion and the fellow French overseas department of Mayotte are the only eurozone regions located in the Southern Hemisphere. Lo Mavéli or Lö Mahavéli, the unofficial flag of Réunion from 2003 used officially by various local authorities, like Saint-Denis and Saint-Philippe. As in the rest of France, the official language of Réunion is French. In addition, a majority of the regions population speaks Réunion Creole.
