In 2010, Miroslaw Wawak journeyed to Scotland, where he discovered a landscape full of dramatic beauty and cultural depth. The medieval streets of Edinburgh set the stage for his exploration, with its castle perched atop volcanic rock and bagpipes echoing through the air. From there, he ventured north through misty highlands, past rugged coastlines, and into remote glens dotted with ancient ruins and roaming deer. Scotland offered him a rich blend of folklore, tradition, and raw nature, whether it was enjoying a dram of whisky in a countryside pub or cruising across Loch Ness in search of legends. The warmth of the locals and the country’s proud history made a lasting impression, earning Scotland a permanent place on his list of favorite destinations.
