Sun Moon Lake Drone Flight: Sun Moon Lake is a year-round destination, with hot summers (Jun–Aug) and mild winters (Dec–Feb). The rainy season is Jun–Aug. Events at the Aboriginal Cherry Blossom Festival (Feb), in the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, include poetry, dancing and music, plus colorful nighttime illumination of the flowering trees. The Sun Moon Lake International Fireworks and Music Festival (Oct/Nov) combines sports competitions, music and fireworks.
